What is the fee?
Depending on your financial circumstances, I work on a sliding scale of €80-€150 per 50 minute session. (I have a set number of lower fee spaces which are currently full). The fee can be discussed during the initial consultation meeting but please be aware that I work at a minimum frequency of once-weekly sessions. These sessions will also occur on the same day and at the same time every week.
The initial consultation fee is €70 and there is no commitment to begin therapy after the consultation unless it feels right to do so.
*Please note that as my practice is full I am not currently accepting new clients or referrals.
Cancelling a Session
Once we have agreed on a fee and appointment times, I require at least one week’s notice of cancellation. Cancellations with less than one week’s notice mean the full session fee will be charged.
Confidentiality
All sessions, and the conversations that take place during them, are strictly private and confidential. To ensure quality of care and maintain ethical standards, all analysts are required to attend supervision. This means I will have regular meetings with my supervisors to make sure I can offer the best possible therapeutic approach.
Supervision will never breach your privacy in any way. And this is because no personal details - for example, your name, the names of people you mention, your contact number/email/address or the details of when or where we meet - will ever be disclosed.
There are some special circumstances where confidentiality may be waived. For example, when there appears to be sufficient evidence to raise concerns about (i) the health, welfare or safety of children or vulnerable adults (for example, in the case of sexual or physical abuse or neglect);or (ii) when a client is judged to be a danger to themselves or to others.
