I adhere to the ICPGAP, IAAP, BACP and UKCP Code of Ethics.

My Background and Interests

I have been teaching Jungian psychology on the Guild of Analytical Psychology’s postgraduate clinical training course and introductory course since 2022. I am Coordinator at the Guild of Analytical Psychology, London, and oversee the running of the training and membership. In 2023, I accepted an Associate Lecturer position at PCI College, Ireland. At PCI, I lecture in Jungian psychology, psychoanalytic theory, and advanced psychodynamic theory for year 3 and year 4 of the BSc Honours Degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy.

As well as my commitment - or what I would call vocation - to depth psychology and psychotherapy, I am a multidisciplinary artist who works in the mediums of sound, written word, video and performance.

For me, psyche, the body, imagination and artistic expression go hand-in-hand; yet creativity has many forms. I believe the ultimate act of creativity can occur when we journey and engage with the unconscious - with our dreams and emotions, with our desires and our distress - to discover our hidden potential and become the person we are meant to be.

I am a songwriter, composer and music director. I graduated from Dublin’s National College of Art and Design with a BA in Fine Art in 2002 and have exhibited in Belfast and Dublin as well as internationally in London, Turkey, Canada, Berlin and Glasgow.

I have an MA in Spirituality (Milltown Institute) and a keen interest in the interface between mystical theology (of all religions), contemplative practice and transpersonal/depth psychology.

Most recently, artistically speaking, I was music director, composer, lyricist and performer for the sold-out Dublin Theatre Festival 2015 new musical I’m Your Man (produced by THISISPOPBABY and Project Arts Centre, supported by the Abbey Theatre and funded through an Arts Council Theatre Project Award).
